Wijnhuis Les Vignerons du Narbonnais is een prachtig wijnhuis gelegen in het Zuiden van Frankrijk, waar de Languedoc en Roussillon de basis voor de wijnbouw vormen. Zoals de naam doet vermoeden, vindt het wijnhuis haar oorsprong rondom de plaats Narbonne, net iets boven Perpignan. Les Vignerons du Narbonnais is een coöperatie. Dit betekent dat verscheidende wijnboeren samen zijn gaan werken, zodat zij betere en mooiere wijnen kunnen gaan produceren. De coöperatie werd bijna honderd jaar geleden opgericht met een handjevol wijnboeren. Inmiddels is het een van de grootste wijnhuizen van Zuid-Frankrijk met maar liefst 2500 hectare wijngaarden. Op de wijngaarden vind je voornamelijk de klassiekers. Chardonnay en Merlot zover het oog reikt. Maar er is een nieuwe druif onder de zon, die op steeds meer plekken wordt aangeplant: de Viognier. Een van oorsprong Cotes du Rhone druif, die ook in de Languedoc voet in de grond zet. Een goede zet van het wijnhuis. Zodra je de fles Jeanette Adorable Viognier opent, wordt je meteen ingepakt door het bruisende boeket. Nuances en aroma’s, kenmerkend voor de Viognier druif, vliegen je direct om de oren. Denk aan wit en geel fruit. Maar ook het florale karakter is goed te onderscheiden. In de smaak is Jeanette Adorable Viognier bijzonder verfijnd. Zacht fruit, zonder zuur te worden, landt op je smaakpapillen. Een milde toets van vanille en jasmijn openbaart zich op de tong. Engaging, well researched, well written and easy to understand!

This is the first time I have read a book of David Jeremiah. I think I have seen him preach on Television at my parent's place when I was on holidays one Sunday morning.
This is a very well researched book, that is easy to read, and not too complicated to follow. It is not dry or overly theological like some books tend to be and I have found what I have read so far to be very engaging and the book is a real page turner.
I love the subject of Revelations and I find that many of the people who write a lot of them have really differing ideas and a lot of opinion. It is refreshing to see an author do a lot of research and find an amazing amount of quotes to back up what he is saying, yet at the same time be engaging and not dry.
I find that at 20% of a book read, that I have already decided whether to shelve a book, or to continue reading in a second session and this will be a book that I read right to its end. As a write myself, I am so impressed with the simplicity of the authors writing, and the subjects that he covers extensively, and yet dare I say it again in an engaging way that is not dry at all.
The way he opens each topic up and uses stories, Bible verses and quotes to back up everything he says is the skill of a master communicator.

Right on the Money!!
Format: Hardcover
I'm not even half way through this book, but it is remarkably accurate!! Dr. Jeremiah goes through our past 50-60 years, explaining HOW we've gotten to where we are today. We have allowed God and faith to be shunned by society, embracing a more "evolved" way of thinking. It's astounding to read, and reflect upon. We often hear the phrase "end days" and for a long time, I've kind of just nodded in agreement, but this book puts it all in order, and clearly reveals what has taken place, and puts you in the mindset of looking towards the SURE return of Christ in the not so distant future. We are at the stage of Sodom and Gomorrah, and this book will show you why.
I would highly recommend this read for those who are interested in how we got here and where we're at now.

Very relavant for today's times
Format: Hardcover
I sometimes felt isolated when it came to reading the bible and then looking up at the news and seeing the parallels and then I found this book. Then I discovered Turning Points and the best minster I ever listened to. Unfortunately he is in San Diego but thanks to modern technology I can listen to him anywhere and anytime. I'm a history buff, but the stories he pulls from the past are none I had heard. His knowledge base of the bible is unmatched in my opinion. He brings past events, the modern nightmare of the world and the bible all together. You can't put it down. After your done you don't feel scared because you know where your salvation lies. It just feels better when you know someone older and wiser than you sees what you see. Now the book will make the round of a small circle of my Christian friends.

I liked the book because it gave encouragement for these days as well as warning others about the approaching Tribulation. I didn't have any criticisms. I think this is a good book for our times to be read by those who seek to prepare.
