He also wanted to use a symbol that represented the State of California. California is a great state. He came up with using the California Bear similar to the one in the California Flag. He is an animal person so it seemed Great. When he put it all together the hat was a hit and sold 300 hats in the first year. Now we carry a variety of products but this is where it all started.
