The Hollyland LARK M2 Charging Case (Combo/Camera Version) in Shine Charcoal is the official replacement portable power bank and storage vault for the LARK M2 wireless ecosystem.

Because the LARK M2 comes in different ecosystem configurations, it is critical to note that the Combo (or Camera) Version Case is the larger, premium variant. Unlike the smaller mobile-only charging dock, this specific case is uniquely molded with deeper, customized slots to cradle the wider Camera-Mount Receiver (RX) alongside the two button-sized transmitters.

Key Capabilities & Power Metrics

  • Massive 1950 mAh Battery Bank: Houses a high-capacity lithium-ion cell that stores enough reserve power to fully cycle the entire dual-microphone system up to 3 consecutive times on a single baseline charge.

  • 40-Hour Production Lifespan: By placing your transmitters and camera receiver back into the case between interview setups or while moving locations, it extends your total field operation time up to an aggregate 40 hours.

  • Rapid Dual-Hour Recovery: Completely recharges the internal batteries of all docked wireless components in just 1.5 to 2 hours via its back-facing USB-C connection point.

  • Automatic Pairing Synchronization: The case features gold-plated magnetic contact pins that link directly with the hardware. Dropping a fresh spare microphone or replacement receiver into its matching slot automatically triggers structural pairing, synchronizing the frequencies without requiring you to use the mobile app.

Identifying Your Replacement Case Variant

Before finalizing a replacement spare, double-check your existing receiver layout to ensure you are selecting the correct docking chassis:

  1. The Combo/Camera Case (This Variant): Features a wide, distinct square cutout in the center designed to accept the chunky Camera-Mount receiver with its volume dial. (Note: The ultra-small mobile plug-in dongles for USB-C or Lightning do not dock inside this case; they are meant to be carried in the standalone soft pouch accessory).

  2. The Mobile Case Variant: A noticeably more elongated, slender storage dock. It is explicitly designed only to hold the two small button mics and a mobile plug-in dongle, featuring a lower battery capacity.

Storage Protection Tip: The interior lid of the Shine Charcoal Combo case features specialized molded rubber dampening pads. When snapping the lid shut, these pads press down firmly against the mesh faces of the 9-gram button transmitters. This immobilizes them completely, preventing physical rattling or friction damage to the internal microphone capsules while the case bounces around inside a tight camera gear bag.

Horrible, don't buy
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
I wanted to love these. They had so much potential. It's a good size. It seems like a good shape. But ... 1) first red flag should have been the packaging. It looked like it was a dollar store item that had beenblost on the shelves for years. 2) the rubber is super flexible. I was expecting it to be sturdier. I can flatten the ball without lich force. Maybe that doesn't matter. Naybe flexible is good. But I never got a chance to test out it's durability against a pup because... 3) it smelled. I expected it to smell like rubber, like most rubber toys. Rubber smell is okay. Usually rubber smell goes away. But, this was NOT a rubber smell. It smells like peppermint or something similar. It's like someone sprayed essential oils when mixing the rubber and now the smell will not leave. I soaked it in dawn soap half the day and overnight. I rubbed. I scrubbed. The smell actually gets worst the more you scrub it!!! It's like a scented marker or scented eraser, but you do NOT want the scent in a dog toy! My dog cannot smell the food in it because the smell of the weird mint-like scent is so overpowering. He saw it had food, and wanted it, but every time he started sniffing wildly, he would recoil. Whoever thought it was a good idea to scent this was WRONG. Mint in the form of an essential oil is extremely poisonous to dogs!! So, why they would put a mint-loke scent ijto the dog's rubber treat toy is beyond me. I would return this if I hadn't throw out the package immediately. I considered pulling the package out of the trash once i realized the scent issue but other trash had already been dumped into the trash can over it and i didn't want to dig through trash. The ball is still soaking in soap. I scrubbed again this morning. I let obe dry out. No luck. It actually seems to get worst the more you scrub, like it really is embedded in the rubber itself. Yuck!!!

Heavy Chewer Approved!
If you have a heavy chewer, this toy is perfect! We have gone through so many toys with our German Shepherd mix that we started to just tell ourselves every two weeks we’d have to be spending $50 on toys. We actually got this as a gift and wow! It’s absolutely blown us away. Not only is it incredibly durable, but our dog absolutely loves it. It’s so easy to stuff treats in there and it keeps him occupied sometimes for close to an hour which, if you have an active dog, you know anything over 20 minutes is a bargain! It is certainly well worth the money, very chew resistant, and basically silent. The loudest thing you might hear is your dog licking or tossing it around in an attempt to get the treats out. I highly recommend stuffing it with a soft chewy cookie because the crunchy ones are just gonna leave crumbs everywhere. I also recommend washing it every other week just to keep buildup from happening deep within the grooves. Note: if you can’t find it, I guarantee you it has rolled under your couch. We ended up buying a second one because we searched high and low for our missing pickle pocket. Naturally, as soon as the second one arrived, the first one was found leisurely lounging just out of reach in the dark depths of our couch’s underbelly.

This toy is awesome. It keeps my dog occupied for a good amount of time, which is hard to do! Pretty much any other toy I've gotten for my dogs, they've easily destroyed. The only other toy that they've enjoyed is the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Large, Black . However, he has have gotten the hang of it and it only takes about 10-15 minutes to get out any treats inside. Also it has a rubbery smell that I don't particularly like. There are three different slits in this pickle toy. For my dog, it takes about 20-30 minutes to work on it and get the treats outs. The crevices are thin enough that it takes them some time to work at it, but flexible enough that you can use pretty much any treat in there. I think the toy is pretty resilient and durable. My dog can chew through anything. I was a bit afraid that they would become frustrated if they couldn't get the treats out that they would just bite through the toy instead. I've had these toys for 2 weeks and so far it's held up without any bite marks or parts chewed off. That's saying a lot. My Malinois even enjoys it without any treats inside. She'll bring it to me like a regular toy. It is a bit on the heavy side so I don't like throwing it around the house, however. Every dog is different but I have to say my dogs really enjoy this. I recommend this toy, and plan on trying out the other Starmark toys.

RECOMMENDED!!
I purchased this for my 68lb Staffy (but really, all our dogs share/ rotate) because the one he had been using wasn’t very challenging and this one looked like it might force him to work a little harder to get the treats out. I was right! He LOVES it - I love it - they ALL love it! There are 3 fairly deep crevices the you can push small treats down into so the dog has to lick them out (you could also use organic peanut butter - *I don’t recommend ever giving dogs any other type of PB as it contains too much salt, sugar, GMOs & preservatives). I take about 10 or so small “squishy” treats and stuff them as far down as I can and he works for almost an hour to lick them until they’re gooey (LOL) enough to be licked out! My other dogs do the same! All our dogs are rescued and “pitbull types” (except one small breed), so they’re strong chewers, but NOT destructive. ****I frequently see people in reviews complaining that their dog destroyed a toy made for “strong chewers.” There’s a HUGE difference between strong and destructive!! Mine are strong chewers, and we like to keep Benebones around here for the times they have the need/instinct to chew (which often!), but they are not destructive dogs. If you have a destructive dog, there is likely no toy on earth they won’t leave in pieces. Destructive dogs are often that way because their breed/age/required needs aren’t being met, so naturally they attempt to release that pent up energy onto toys (or even furniture/shoes/etc. It’s not the dog’s fault. It’s definitely not a manufacturer’s or seller’s fault. #1 Rule: Know your dog!! If they destroy most toys within minutes, they’re likely lacking exercise. If you’re exercising them to their breed & age requirements and they’re still destructive, you can work on either behavior modification or finding toys that they CAN’T destroy. Benebones, Nylabones, etc are great because they are very well made and even as the dogs chew little pieces off, it creates edges that clean their teeth. Win-Win!! These are things we’ve learned from running a canine rescue & rehab for over 20 years, which means fostering dogs of all backgrounds, personalities, ages and needs (90% of which are pibbles).

Almost the best, and great price point...
I love this toy - I give it to my toughest chewer stuffed up with kibble and p-butter that I've frozen an hour or two - and it's cool to play with unfilled too, as it's pliable and soft/bouncy while being also very durable. Starmark is my 3rd of 3 name brands I will buy for my dogs, due to my need for durability for tough chewers thus limiting what toys/brands I can even pick from (West Paw is one I'm now just trying, and Outward Hound is my usual go to over the years), and to be honest, between price and availability, I really want to move Starmark to my number 1 go to but....from what I can tell, the other two companies have great policies about releasing what/where their products are made (of), and I cannot seem to find out whether or not Starmark is also i.e. food-grade and/or whether they have a guarrented return policy or not so....a star off for that until/unless I can assure myself and you, reader, that the quality is just as good as the other two companies. To be fair though, and due to not being able to find any info on material qualities, this IS the one and only toy I have used, but they are also often sold at many local stores and so many of the other treat-toys in this brand have caught my eye, as far as types of toys available and ease to find if/when a replacement (or double to ship to my sister's dog!) is needed. I am thinking that, from what I've seen/felt at local stores for this brand, the durability is likely on par so...again, all going back to the material choice and manufacturing info, for me, that prevents this being a full 5 stars.
