Dancing on His Grave: A True Story of Survival and TriumphMy earliest memories are only fear. A great hurting fear that made my heart as big as a pumpkin that welled up into my throat, choking me, dizzying my head, turning my legs to rubber. Fear of moving and making noise, fear of sleep that was invaded by terrible nightmares, fear of waking up to the daily beatings for wet beds, fear of the dark, fear of guns and knives, fear of loud noises, fear of making a mistake, fear of forgetting, fear of Mom going
My earliest memories are only fear. A great hurting fear that made my heart as big as a pumpkin that welled up into my throat, choking me, dizzying my head, turning my legs to rubber. Fear of moving and making noise, fear of sleep that was invaded by terrible nightmares, fear of waking up to the daily beatings for wet beds, fear of the dark, fear of guns and knives, fear of loud noises, fear of making a mistake, fear of forgetting, fear of Mom going away, and most of all, fear of the constant presence we called Daddy. These are my oldest sister's words.Dancing on His Grave is a memoir set on an eastern Montana ranch between 1930 and 1955. My four sisters, my mother and I all contribute first person narrative to this story, along with excerpts from the extensive journals my mother kept throughout her life. It is the story of five sisters who survived unspeakable deprivation and abuse, sexual and physical, at the hands of our sadistic father. A friend gave me his strong opinion. As the psychologist for the prison in Deer Lodge, he said, I meet inmates with stories like yours all the time. What makes your story unique is the outcome. This story is not about him. This is about five little girls who literally survived him, excelled in school, married and raised families of normal, productive, contributing citizens.
My father was not an alcoholic or drug addict. All his abuse was administered cold sober. I am convinced he was not mentally ill, in the legal or moral sense of the phrase. He knew right from wrong, but as a narcissistic sociopath, he believed that the world revolved around him, so the rules of decency that other people follow did not apply. The only rule he held himselfto, was 'Don't get caught'. The state of being purely evil does not constitute mental illness. By my estimation, he was born without a conscience, and perhaps without a soul.
The most important message of this story is the resilience and strength of the human spirit.

Definitely would recommend
Color: Brown, Color: Brown
This bag had soft leather and looked just like the picture on the product page. There is the main compartment, two zippers and two slip pockets on the inside. I do like the bag, but I don’t usually like slip pockets because a lot of times when you’re just throwing things into the bag items might go into a slip pocket without you realizing it. I didn’t pay attention to this when I bought the bag, but I still really like it. On the back is a large compartment with a zipper. On the front is another large compartment with a zipper and a pocket with a magnetic snap. I bought the brownish color one and it’s really beautiful. I would definitely recommend it. It does come with two straps I am trying out the one they call Boho for now. It is very nice. The other one which I guess is leather also is much thinner.

STURDY, WELL MADE, AND ATTRACTIVE BUT..
Color: Coffee
The title say everything there is to say about this purse. I especially loved the two outside pockets that worked perfectly for my phone, keys etc. making them easily accessible.
Unfortunately the inside zipped compartment that many find useful was the bane of my life.. I could not remember whether I had put something inside the zipped pocket or on either side - and if so on which side.
Besides which all small things (lipstick, small pill case, etc) fell on their side and were very difficult to see and find in the black interior. I guess I am too used to a purse organizer (light colored) which has stiff pockets in which everything stands up vertically. All it takes is a glance to locate what you need..
I had to, almost regretfully, return this purse but lesson learned - only buy a purse minus middle pocket which leaves no room for an organizer.

It's a nice Crossbody bag.
Color: Coffee
The Iswee Soft Leather Cross Body Bag is a really nice Bag, and I love it. but, the front pocket has a Magnet that's supposed to keep it closed, but the Magnetic Closure doesn't work, therefore I can't use that pocket. I've taken it to a couple places to maybe have a new magnet put in, but they said they couldn't do it because of the cloth lining. I've not given up yet trying to find a place to fix or replace the magnet. Like I said, its a very nice bag, and I Love everything else about it. It has a lot of different pockets which is great. I'm using the front zipper pocket for phone key fob and phone. I do love all the pockets it has because I have a place for everything, and when I need something like my Inhaler, I know exactly where I can quickly get it. I also Love that it has 2 crossbody straps, but my favorite one is the, wide cloth one shown in the pictureof the bag, It's perfect for me! So I just recommend that if you buy one, make sure to check that front pockets magnets Closure to make sure it works. I truly hate that I can't use that pocket for my key fob and my phone as it would be so much better if I could. Other than that, I do recommend it, its the perfect bag and size for me and it's not heavy, and well made.. The leather is very nice too. The Only reason, I gave it 4 stars, is the front magnet doesn't work which is disappointing. Good luck with the magnet if you get one.

Gorgeous leather bag.
Color: Brown
This is a beautiful purse. Better than I expected and higher quality than many expensive, high brand bags I’ve looked at. The leather is awesome, so many pockets, love the pouch. On the front for my phone. Has a secure clasp and the hardware is perfect. I’ve been using the cloth woven handle, looks a little Southwestern. So glad I took a chance and ordered this bag! Do it, you won’t regret it.beautiful leather bag

Just what I needed.
Color: Coffee
This bag seems like it is made well. I would highly recommend. It’s not too big or too small for me. Lots of places to put keys, wallet, medicine and a few other things.
