During his long career he served primarily along the Texas-Mexico border where his word became law. State offi cials subsequently promoted him senior captain, moving his headquarters to Austin. Hughes retired in 1915-having served as ranger and captain longer than any man on the force. Don't Waste Your Money

This watch is a complete disappointment. Right out from the box, I adjusted the time per the instruction manual. After finshing adjusting the watch, I pushed the crown in (two clicks). The second hand started movement after almost 10 seconds. From then on, the second hand was stopping and going by itself. Within less than anhour, the watch was behind almost 25 seconds. It is a piece of junk. I would not advise anyone to buy this watch.
